Whether you are getting in a canoe for the first time, are looking at enhancing your skills on the lake or on the river, or are interested in getting certified as a Paddle Canada instructor, Alberta's favourite outdoor adventure centre has a variety of courses for you to choose from! Browse available programs below. All courses are taught by Paddle Canada instructors or instructor trainers.
Lake Canoeing Clinic
Learn paddling basics with this nationally recognized program. We offer both half-day or full-day intro to canoeing courses. Enjoy the serenity of a tranquil lake nestled in the boreal forest. Instruction provided by certified Paddle Canada Instructors.

River Canoeing Clinic
This moving water skills clinic will provide participants with the opportunity to advance their canoeing skills. The focus of this course is on canoe stability, using water features, and paddling techniques for navigating Class II waters. The morning of the first day will be spent at Twin Lakes, and the afternoon on the North Saskatchewan River between Blue Bridge and Brierley’s. The second day is a full day on the river. This clinic follows the Paddle Canada curriculum closely but will be customized to meet the needs of the group.
