Public Raft Trips

Interested in adding a little excitement to your summer? Want to try dipping your toe into water sports? A day of white water rafting may be exactly what you’re looking for! Our White Water Rafting Program is 2-3 hour trip down the beautiful North Saskatchewan river. The rapids are Class II max, making this a great river for paddlers of all experience levels.

Paddle hard and hold on tight as you plunge through rapids; experience the excitement of surfing and bow-dunking rafts; maybe even hop in for an adventurous swim through some

smaller whitewater.

Not sure you’ll be comfortable with really big waves? No problem! Anyone wanting to skip the largest rapids are able to hop out and enjoy the show from the shore-line.

Personal Packing List

Please bring the following items with you for your adventure!

1. Water clothes

Please bring a bathing suit to wear underneath, and shorts or rain pants to wear over your wetsuit (wetsuits provided by HeLa).

*The layer on top of the wetsuits helps protect them from damage.

2. Water shoes

Please wear close-toed shoes that are secured to your feet (no crocs or sandals - we recommend old runners). Note: This is a requirement. Improper footwear may result in the inability to participate in the program.

3. Layers

The water and weather can be cold - please bring an extra sweater, or rain jacket!

4. Water bottle

Rafting is hard work! Bring an old water bottle that you don't mind getting a bit banged up.

5. Sun protection

Sunscreen is important on the water!

6. Dry clothes and shoes

Bring a towel and a change of clothes for the end of your trip!
