This stretch contains some smaller rapids and swift water that are easily avoided and a few log jams and strainers to watch out for. This is a great beginners section with lots of wilderness camping.

The Horburg access point is on a side channel that will require a quick drag or portage if the water level is low.  It is hard to spot if you have never been there before. Prior scouting is advised.
