Canoe Rentals & River Shuttles
HeLa Ventures has a variety of paddling gear available for rent including canoes, paddles, Stand-Up Paddleboards, PFD's, and throw bags.
*Please note that we do not supply straps, ropes or blocks to tie down your rental canoes.*
We offer a canoe drop off and pick up service for the North Saskatchewan river between Nordegg and Drayton Valley. We can also shuttle your vehicle(s) from put in to take out locations.
*Please note: we do not rent canoes if the river flow is above 300 cm/s.
Travel on the North Saskatchewan River should only be undertaken by experienced paddlers. It is NOT suitable for beginners. You must be competent paddlers in Class II water and have the ability to self rescue. If you are unsure of your skill level, contact us to book an introductory lesson.
